We made Gluten Free Lemon Loaf

Updated: Dec 27, 2022

If you want to have a hoot with your kids or even just your husband/wife, get in the kitchen and make a recipe.

We love baking and cooking and to be able to bring Everest into the kitchen and invite him to try new things has been so fun.

Recently we made gluten-free mini lemon loaves with cream cheese frosting as a family and we had a blast.

E tried his first lemon and seemed to actually enjoy it, he helped stir and tried frosting for the first time and gave a big ole Mmmmm.

We used this recipe for the loaves however we made our own frosting.

We used one 8oz block of cream cheese, a splash of lemon juice and a couple of scoops of icing sugar.

You want to go by taste and texture. For us, we like more cream cheese taste so we didn't put too much sugar in. I think about 1/2 cup. Some recipes call for multiple cups which is too much for us.

If you don't want to taste your way to perfect frosting, here are a couple of recipes you can check out.
